Dirty Chai Latte
Ingredients
12 oz. whole milk
1 cinnamon stick
2 cardamom pods
5 black peppercorns
1 ½ inches of fresh ginger, peeled, and squished
2 tablespoons of honey
2 bags of black tea
2 shots of espresso
Directions
To create this delightful fall coffee recipe, crush all of the spices together; Koffee Kult suggests doing this with a rolling pin. Put the spices and the milk into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Turn the heat off and steep for 8 minutes. After 8 minutes, add the black tea and allow for it to steep for 5 minutes. Strain the milk, return to the saucepan, and gently rewarm the milk if you need to. You can split the serving between two mugs, and add 1 shot of espresso to each. Enjoy!
